How Tricord begun:
"Tricord" started in late February 2020 before the pandemic shut the world down. While most bands threw in the towel or just waited, we were preparing. We saw it as an opportunity, not opposition.

Tricord began recording their first EP during the shutdown. A year later, it was released on all streaming platforms in April 2021. Since then, Tricord has gained the attention of numerous fans, festivals, and promoters. Tricord has been featured on a number of podcasts, including Rock Salt Muzkast, where frontman Maine (Jermaine Nixon) now co-hosts.

As of 2024, Tricord has signed to Resurrection Records under the operation of Aaron Hobbs (stage name Aaron Michaels). Tricord has released two music videos, "Born to Be a King" and "Into The Storm."
